Since our school days, we've been making music together and sharing our love for funk and disco music, what even led us to the Montreux Jazz Festival. So we decided to take it to the next level and founded the band "The Monotones" in autumn 2005.
Our music is a mixture of pop-oriented melodies, funky rhythms, jazzy harmonies and grooves influenced by disco and modern club sound.
The concept of the band provides a high flexibility for everyone who wants to bring us on stage: To a fully operating core of five musicians, we can add more musicians depending on whatever sort of musical event you want to organize. Therefore we regularly cooperate with singer Anna Rossinelli, horns and strings.
