Since 2005 the four guys of ?The Sinful Saints? have made the stages of Switzerland and Germany shake under their powerful funkrock. Their triumph started with their selftitled debut album, whose modest success wave carried them around local clubs. As winners of a band contest in the country of the beer, the band conquered the hearts of thousands of groupies in Southern Germany and fought their way through the maze of Swiss and German city stages. Despite iron will, megalomania and readiness to complete commercial prostitution, they have not yet been able to make a living of their art, and in 2007 they released their second EP ?Waitin? For The Nighttime? in the ?Hafenkneipe? in Zurich. This ?Milestone In Art?, as the Sinful Saints modestly call their album, earned them a lot of reviews, the Rockstar Magazine considering a canonisation, provided their development continues in the same way. Especially well-meaning critics praise them as ?Wanna-Be-Red-Hot-Chili-Peppers?, whereas the closer fan base does not stop recommending them to appear on stage completely naked. Whatever ? You won?t easily forget the band, once you?ve seen them live.

Seit 2005 steigen die vier Jungs der Sinful Saints auf die Bühnen der Schweiz und Deutschland und lassen es mächtig rocken. Eingeläutet wurde der Triumpfzug mit dem selbstbetitelten Debutalbum, auf deren noch bescheidener Erfolgswelle erst mal durch die einheimischen Clubs getourt wurde. Durch einen gewonnenen Bandcontest im Lande des Biers spielte sich die Band dann gegen Ende 2006 in die Herzen abertausender süddeutscher Groupies und tingelte sich fortan durch die Wirren deutscher und schweizer Grossstadtbühnen. Trotz eisernem Willen, Grössenwahn und der Bereitschaft zur totalen kommerziellen Prostitution konnten sie sich ihre Existenz dadurch noch nicht sichern und tauften 2007 in der Zürcher Hafenkneipe ihre zweite CD "Waitin' For The Nighttime". Mit diesem "Milestone In Art" wie die Band ihr Album selbstlos betitelt, holt sie viele Kritiken ein. So zieht das Rockstar Magazin eine Heiligsprechung in Betracht, falls sich die Jungs weiterhin so entwickeln wie bisher. Besonders wohlgesinnte Kritiker wiederum jubeln die Sinful Saints als "Möchtegern-Red-Hot-Chili-Peppers" in die Höhe, während der engste Fankreis beharrlich empfielt, beim nächsten Konzert ganz nackt auf die Bühne zu treten. Was auch immer gelten mag, vergessen tut man die Band so schnell nicht, wenn man sie mal live gesehen hat?
