On pourra dire "encore un groupe parmi tant d'autres" mais il suffira d'écouter les premières notes de "Klyde" pour comprendre que ces 4 garçons bercés d'influences anglo-saxonnes sont bien différents.

Klyde est un groupe pop-rock natif de la région PACA. Créé en 2004 par David (Chant/Guitare/Batterie) et Alain (Guitare), le groupe est rejoint en 2006 par Baptiste (Basse). Ils enregistreront une trentaine de titres avant de sortir leur premier album intitulé « S’il n’y a plus rien » en 2007. Par la suite, le groupe intègrera Arthur (Batterie) afin de présenter ses morceaux sur scène.

Après 3 années passées à jouer dans les pubs, les salles, les festivals et fort de son expérience scénique, le groupe se trouve alors une nouvelle identité musicale. Arthur sera alors remplacé par Jean-Christophe à la batterie. Sous son nouveau line-up, Klyde décide de commencer l'enregistrement de nouveaux titres, pour donner vie en février 2011 à « Human Thing », leur EP de 7 titres. 2012 arrive, le groupe reprend la route des studios pour enregistrer et sort au mois de Mars un nouvel EP de 5 titres intitulé " Stars of the universe ".

Naviguant quelque part entre rock, cold ou pop, David, Alain, Baptiste et Jean-Christophe proposent un mélange des genres où colère et sensibilité se côtoient incestueusement.

Mélomane, Fan ou simplement de passage, addict ou non du style, "Klyde" ne laissera personne indifférent.

One could say «Just another band among so many others » but after only a few notes from “Klyde” you will know that these 4 guys, brought up under Anglo-Saxon influences, stand out from all others.

Klyde is a pop-rock band from PACA region. Created in 2004 by David (Vocals/Guitar/Drum) and Alain (Guitar), the band was joined in 2006 by Baptiste (Bass). They recorded thirty songs before releasing their first album entitled "S’il n’y a plus rien" in 2007. Subsequently, the band welcomed Arthur (Drums) to join them to present his songs on stage.

After 3 years spent playing in pubs, venues, festivals, and improving their performance on stage, the band has discovered another musical identity. Arthur was replaced by Jean-Christophe on the drums. Under its new line-up, Klyde decided to start recording new songs to give birth in February 2011 to “Human Thing”, their 7 tracks EP. 2012 comes, the band takes back the way of studios to record and release in March a new EP entitled " Stars of the universe ".

Floating somewhere in between rock, cold or pop, David, Alain, Baptiste & Jean-Christophe offer a mixture of genres where anger and sensibility are incestuously intermingled.

Music lovers, fans or simple passers-by, addicts or not of the style, “Klyde” will touch everybody and leave nobody indifferent.
