Alon (born in Israel, 1965) grew up in a Kibbutz.

He played trumpet and percussion before picking up the bass guitar (in 1987).

Alon’s main influences are : 70’s rock, progressive rock, jazz, classics, ECM & world music.

From 1987 to 1990 in Israel : Keshev (jazz), Redrum (heavy metal),

gigs in clubs (Tel-Aviv, Jerusalem, Eilat Jazz Festival ’88, …).



In 1991 Alon moves to Belgium.

He plays in several rock, ethno and funk bands as bass player, song writer, percussionist and backing vocalist.

In 1995, after many gigs all over Belgium (clubs, cultural centres, small Summer Festivals and no record deal …)

he leaves the rock scene and creates “We Like Solutions”

(cross-over jazz-rock) together with drummer Bob Van Vaerenbergh and guitarist Patrice de Matos de Morais.

“We Like Solutions” is still performing in Belgium

(Brussels : “le Cercle”, “Sounds”, “Travers”, ”Brussels Jazz Marathon”, “Jazz Jette June”/ Antwerp: “Muze”, and many more …)

and have their first CD out

Alon is actually performing with “We Like Solutions” and with “Black Note” (world, afro, arabico, italo, jewish, jazzy band. www.myspace.com/blacknote1 ).

He teaches bass guitar, video and general music in Belgium and Israel.

Né en Israël en 1965, Alon est très tôt imprégné d'influences musicales
classiques et traditionnelles. Il étudie la trompette et les
percussions.
A l'âge de 23 ans, il opte pour la basse électrique qu'il étudie en
autodidacte.
Il intègre alors plusieurs formations dans lesquelles il exprime ses
capacités d'auteur compositeur, interprète.
Actuellement, il consacre une bonne partie de son temps à enseigner la
musique et la vidéo aux enfants, aux jeunes et aux adultes. Il fait partie des
groupes tels que "TAN" (Tanar çatalpinar: musique de la Mésopotamie) "Klezzmania factory" (musique yiddish), «Black Note» (chant
berbère, percussions et chants africaines), «We like Solutions» (Ethno Fusion).
