Syn- est musicien guitariste et compositeur.
Le projet global est de réunir les différentes formes d'art.
Son univers se réfère à la nature et son rapport à la machine. Il s'applique à associer les différentes formes d'art : la musique, l'écriture, la danse, le théâtre, les arts plastiques et la vidéo.
Les compositions de Syn- se déchainent parfois violemment dans un univers tribal post-indus et portent aussi une attention particulière à une écoute scénarisée, orchestrée, hypnotique, dite ambiante. Vivantes et organiques, elles mettent en résonance des sons de sources naturelles (enregistrements de bruits, voix..) et artificielles (sons numériques) et envoient à leur tour des images.
Sa conception musicale n'est pas tant mentale mais plutôt intuitive et sensuelle.
Co-fondateur du label indépendant associatif Prasca orienté vers les musiques issues du mouvement post-rock: post-indus, ambiantes et expérimentales.
Il a travaillé occasionnellement pour d'autres artistes : Julie Legrand, Krzysztof Wodiczko, Ann Hamilton, Rhys Chatham, Von Magnet...

Syn- is a musician and a composer.
The global project is gathering the different forms of arts.
Syn-s universe refers essentially to the nature facing the machine. He works in a permanent process of research dealing about the mixing of music with litterature, dance, theatre, visual arts or the video.
The compositions by Syn- sometimes break out violently in tribal and post-indus universe and expect also a carefully and beautiful attention to this scripted, orchestrated, hypnotic and beautiful music, called ambient music from the listener. Lively and organic, they start resonating sounds with natural origins (recording of voices, sounds..) and artificial origins (numerical sounds) and in their turn throw auditory images.
His musical conception is more sensual and intuitive than mental.
Co-fonder of the independent label Prasca, oriented towards music coming from the post-rock movement: international post-indus, ambient and experimental productions.

« De mouvement en mouvement, (?), de scènes en scènes, de tableaux
en tableaux, » le personnage de Manolo est le fil conducteur
de ce concert en cinq actes qui traverse les ambiances médiévales,
méditatives ou encore industrielles.
Syn- puise des sources organiques afin de célébrer la nature quand les
parties acoustiques et électriques, les envolées symphoniques et les rythmiques tribales célèbrent l?homme.
Le texte de E.5131, parfois projeté à l ?écran, propose un jeu
sur les sons, sur les sens.
Sous une pluie de sons, Gyomh renvoie des images de ce théâtre des
conditions humaines : témoin du chaos social et de l?avènement de l?ère industrielle.

?From movement to movement, (...), from scenes to scenes,
from paintings to paintings... ?, the character Manolo is the recurrent
theme that crosses the medieval, meditative and industrial landscapes.
Syn- reprocesses natural elements so as to celebrate nature when
the acoustic and electric parts, the flights of tribal rhythms and symphonies celebrate mankind.
The text by E.5131, sometimes projected on the screen, plays
the words with rhythmical reading and gives images.
Under the rain of sounds, Gyomh sends images from this theatre
of human conditions: as a witness of the social chaos and of the advent
of the industrial era.
