MIX ATTITUDE
Trance on CD : Sekoya plays full on trance with originals melodies and groovy battery making the place so hot through his own energetic and harmonic sets. CD technic gives Sekoya more expression in his mix and becomes a real performance with CDJ1000 models !
House and Jungle on VINYLS and CD's : Sekoya plays House, Tek House with funky touch, always groovy searching the harmony and the energy in his every-time mix. He can plays with 2 cdj's and 2 vinyls turntables creating a spontaneous mix with different styles of house like progressive, trance and voices styles... The same with Jungle music with reggae and trance colors and sure deep energy.
STUDIO & LIVE THE ECO6TEM LABO
Audio synthesis maker, Sekoya learned sequencers and synthetisers in 97. He loves to create his own sounds textures through hardware synths like Novation, Access Virus, Nord Lead and more !! He is able to use any kind of materials (easy or not, but sure !!). Sekoya works actually on G5 Mac and Logic.
STORY
Sekoya started Dj activity in year 1998 evolving thought many kind of electronic music styles like Hardtechno, Techno, Goa, House and then Psychedelic Trance on CD’s.
Composer & Bassist since year 1993, Sekoya’s true vocation is music. He learned Midi on hardware sequencer like Roland and Yamaha then Audio-Midi on PC sequencers like Traker,
Cakewalk, Rebirth, Cubase, Logic, SoundForge. Its on creation that he devotes his full energy !
Year 2000 Sekoya founded Eco6tem collective with Dj Garce and started playing in psychedelic trance parties.
He works on Novation synths for the first time on the project “TRANCERS” making his
first live act year 2001, in a magic open air party. (100% Hardware Live Concept).
Year 2003 Sekoya makes his own studio and the Live act project becomes “SUNRIZE” with Dj Garce. He works then with Logic & Mac, Virus Access and Nord Lead & always Novation synths…
He cofounds 1000 Volts association and becomes Mix & Mao Trainer in year 2004 using everything he learned during those years.
During the year 2005 Sekoya made new tracks with Dj Garce and Dj Kayshan in a new studio using Eventide, Korg Triton, G2x, DX32 Korg Mixtable, Genelec improving their capabilities.
Sekoya current way aims at playing everywhere it is possible as well by his original mix and his own music !
