DAVID BUZZI ? Singer Songwriter



David Buzzi (Davide Buzzi) was born on December 31, 1968 in Aquila, a little town in Blenio Valley, Switzerland.

In 1982 he worked as an actor in the film Nelo Risi. In 1989 he worked as a DJ at a small private radio station and began his career as a singer, at first singing in some rock bands and then as singer and songwriter.

In 1991 David was a finalist in a competition organized by Swiss television TSI with the song ?Lettera dal carcere,? which included as part of a CD compilation.

In 1993 he produced his first CD ?Da grande?.

In 1994 Swiss Television TSI produced a documentary about Romaneschi (a character who is in one of his songs) and he and this documentary were shown on 14 European channels for the Magazine Alice.

In 1997 he won second place at the ?Festival di Lissone? with his song ?Vuross,? which also won a special prize for the best lyrics.

In 1998 he recorded his second CD ?Il Diavolo Rosso: Romaneschi?. This time David worked with a variety of musicians, including the Finnish rock band, Leningrad Cowboys. The same year he won the ?Festival di Lissone? with the song ?Ul Veget di Mariunet? and received a special prize for the best lyrics and music. In July 1999 he went on tour in Sweden with the Swedish band ?Mad Max?.

In October 2000 he went to Italy to receive a special prize ?Premio San Bonifacio 2000?. In May 2003 in Sanremo he received the prestigious international prize ?Myrta Gabardi? for the Talenti e Voci internazionali.

In 2004 in USA and Australia is solded a cd titled ?Ed io correvo..? It is a Cd including

old and new songs of the songwriter from Switzerland.

The Cd and the song ?Vuröss? is included in the KAM Compilation 2006 and entered in the playlist of differents radio in Australia and in USA, where arrived near the first place.

?Vuröss? had a big success in the website www.mp3.com.au, where entered in the top 100 more played and downloded songs.

In 2005, after some years spended in tournee in Europe (Davide has played in Sweden, Switzerland; Italy and ex Yugoslavia) was an art director in a benefit project ?Together For a Smile?, a CD compilation where has played artists from all part of the World. The CD had been realized to help ?Fondazione Elisa? of Locarno (Switzerland), a Fondation who helps children who have heavy diseases and their families.

The song ?Caruso Bar? singed with the swedish songwriter Joe Hansson in the website www.mp3.com.au where arrived at the 10° place in the parade Pop/Rock, more played and downloded songs.

In 2006 arrives the new CD to Davide Buzzi titled ?Perdo i pezzi?, where many international artists have worked. The CD has recorded at the Loto Studio of Filetto(RA)to Gianluca Lo Presti and masterizzated to Creative Mastering of Forlì to Stefano Cappelli.

BIOGRAFIA ARTISTICA



DAVIDE BUZZI ? Cantautore

Inizia la sua carriera artistica nel 1982, quando è accanto a Gianpiero Albertini e Franco Diogene in ?L?oro nel camino?, pluripremiato film di Nelo Risi, prodotto in parte dalla Televisione Svizzera.

Nel 1993 pubblica il suo primo CD ?Da grande?, completamente auto prodotto ed in seguito è un susseguirsi di esibizioni, concerti e concorsi, tra i quali il ?Festival Internacional de l?Isla de Margarita?, ?Una voce per Sanremo?, Sanremo Nuovi Talenti?, ?A Voice for Europe?, ecc. Nel 1997 si classifica secondo al Festival di Lissone con la canzone ?Vuröss?, dove si aggiudica pure il premio speciale per il miglior testo.

Nel 1998 esce il suo secondo CD ?Il Diavolo Rosso: Romaneschi?, realizzato con la partecipazione di alcuni musicisti di fama internazionale. Nello stesso anno Davide vince il ?Festival di Lissone: Cantem Insemma? con la canzone ?Ul Vegèt di Mariunèt?. Nel 2001 viene invitato ad esibirsi all?ARISTON CAFÈ, nell?ambito delle manifestazioni collaterali al Festival di Sanremo. E? stato insignito della ?Targa Città di Milano? e di altri due premi internazionali, nel 2000 ?PREMIO CITTÀ SAN BONIFACIO? a Verona e nel 2002 ?Premio Myrta Gabardi? a Sanremo.

Nel 2004 esce un CD in USA e Australia, dal titolo ?Ed io correvo??. Si tratta di un lavoro che riunisce vecchi brani e canzoni inedite del cantautore bleniese.

Grazie a questo CD la sua canzone ?Vuröss? viene inserita nella KAM Compilation 2006 della casa discografica Kid Antrim Music di Ronkonkoma, NY (USA) e nelle playlist di diverse radio in Australia e USA, dove scala le classifiche delle richieste.

?Vuröss? riscuote grande successo pure sul sito australiano www.mp3.com.au, dove riesce ad entrare nella TOP 100 delle canzoni più richieste e scaricate del sito (su oltre 64'000 brani inseriti).

Dopo alcuni anni passati ad esibirsi in varie parti dell?Europa (Davide ha tenuto concerti in Svezia, Svizzera, Italia, ex Yugoslavia, ecc.), nel 2005 Davide promuove ed assume la direzione artistica del progetto benefico ?Together For A Smile?, un CD compilation che riunisce artisti provenienti da Italia, Svezia, Australia e USA e realizzato per contribuire alla raccolta di fondi in favore della ?Fondazione Elisa? di Locarno (Svizzera), un? associazione che si occupa dell?aiuto a bambini colpiti da gravi malattie e alle loro famiglie.

La canzone ?Caruso Bar?, brano che da il titolo al progetto e che Davide Buzzi ha scritto in coppia con il cantautore svedese Joe Hansson viene anch?essa inserita nel sito australiano www.mp3.com.au, dove risale in classifica fino fino al 75° sito (su oltre 100'000 brani inseriti a quel momento). Nella classifica Pop/Rock il brano ha raggiunto il 10° posto, mentre per quanto riguarda la specifica chart Rock "Caruso Bar" si è issata fino ad un prestigioso 3° rango.

Nel contempo l?emittente australiana Relax Radio inserisce la canzone inserisce ?Caruso Bar? nella sua PlayList, dove è ancora in rotazione.

Nel 2006, Davide Buzzi si presenta al pubblico con il suo nuovo album, dal titolo ?Perdo pezzi?, un lavoro al quale hanno partecipato numerosi artisti internazionali (fra i quali il cantautore italiano Leandro Barsotti ed il Country Man australiano Jason Kemp) ed è stato registrato in diversi studi fra Svezia, Svizzera, Australia, Isole Vergini Britanniche, USA e Italia.

Il disco è stato lavorato e rifinito al Loto Studio di Filetto (RA) da Gianluca Lo Presti e masterizzato al Creative Mastering di Forlì da Stefano Cappelli.
