Born in San Francisco California in 1989 Ellington Wilburn was first introduced to the stage at two weeks old by his father Rudi Wilburn a rhythm and blues singer born in Texas. He attended school at the French American School and the Lycée Francais during the years from 1993 to 1996.
In august 1996 the family relocated to the south of France and in 2002 Ellington started working as a stage hand with his father doing sound and technical work in general.
In the summer of 2003 Ellington got his first taste of being on stage with his father singing background vocals. That’s when he decided he wanted to be a real entertainer. After the summer of 2003 Ellington started to work on his artistic abilities for becoming a star. When school finished in the summer of 2004 he started to work again with his father this time he had learned enough material to sing lead. Songs like Maria Maria (Santana) I Need a Girl (Usher) Mambo #5 (Lou Bega) were a few of his choices. His summer was a successful one for he gained audiences in Monte Carlo, Cannes, Nice and a few other choice places on the French Riviera.
To this day Ellington is writing his own material and working in the studio with inspiration to be a successful recording artist. He is also currently working with two longtime family friends and producers Mr. Narada Michael Walden and Mr. George Hearst of San Francisco California
